Marc Grandi Hired as GreyWolves Broadcaster for 2017

GRESHAM, Ore. – The Gresham GreyWolves are excited to announce Marc Grandi will enter the booth as the voice of the Wolves for the 2017 season. Grandi will provide play-by-play commentary for all 57 games during the summer, both home and away.

Grandi is a Junior at the University of Oregon. He is currently the Assistant Sports Director at KWVA, the flagship radio station at the University of Oregon. KWVA broadcasts Oregon football, volleyball, soccer, and softball as well as local high school football and basketball. He is currently broadcasting football, and boys and girls basketball for Thurston High School; as well as hosting an hour long radio show with KWVA.

In the spring Marc will be the play-by-play broadcaster for Oregon softball. He will broadcast every home duck softball game, as well as multiple road games. That experience, along with his work in the Oregon School of Journalism and Communication, made Grandi a can’t miss hire for the GreyWolves.

“We are thrilled to have Marc on the airwaves this upcoming summer for the GreyWolves,” GreyWolves’ owner Scott Barchus said. “Marc is extremely talented, and I know he will make an outstanding connection with our fan base. He’s going to take our radio broadcast and overall media relations department to new heights in 2017.”

Gresham’s newly-released schedule features a 57-game slate with 30 being played at Mt. Hood Community College’s Oslund Field, once again the home of the GreyWolves. The home opener is set for Monday, June 5 vs Cowlitz.
